The Town of Erin has launched an exciting new exhibition program to help celebrate local artists within the community. The Town will be providing a dedicated space within Town Hall for residents to freely display their artwork, in an effort to showcase the diverse array of creative talent that thrives in Erin. The ‘Art in the Hall’ program will accept seasonal submissions from artists of all ages, and display artwork in various mediums.
The designated display space will be located in the public viewing area directly outside of Council Chambers. The public will have access to view the public art display throughout the year, and will feature a new display of artwork every season. “This is a great opportunity for local artists to have another venue to display their works”, says Mayor Alls. “Together we are building a strong and vibrant community, supporting local artists, small businesses and emerging talent.”
Works of art for public display will be assessed by Erin’s Artwork Selection Committee (ASC). The Town of Erin invites artists of all ages and backgrounds to apply for participation int he public exhibition of artwork at Erin Town Hall. Although all local submissions will be accepted, residents of Erin are ultimately preferred.
