On Wednesday, February 7th, 2018, at the Economic Developers’ Council of Ontario Awards of Excellence in Toronto, Headwaters Tourism was once again recognized for exceptional work in marketing. For the third consecutive year, the Headwaters Four-Season Visitors’ Guide has been recognized as the best publication in the province.

First launched in 2015, this third edition of the annual Headwaters Four-Season Visitors’ Guide was conceived and created by the team at Touchwood Design Inc. (Shawn Murenbeeld and Jim Diorio), with feature photography by Caledon photographer James MacDonald.  The 2017 edition was an evolution of the prior years’ publications, focusing on the 150 Realsons to visit Headwaters during Canada’s 150th celebrations.   The judging panel provided feedback on the publication, noting that the content and design were exceptional and that it truly reflected the brand character of the region. Some of the judges even commented that they would “pay to own it”.

The team at Headwaters Tourism is humbled to share the story of our tourism operators and businesses through innovative storytelling, sharing with visitors what makes Headwaters: Where Ontario Gets Real.

On behalf of all our tourism partners in Headwaters, thank you once again to the Economic Developers’ Council of Ontario for recognizing Headwaters Tourism’s commitment to positioning Headwaters as Ontario’s premier rural tourism destination.
